Dispositivo basato sul chip ethernet Wiznet W5100 che permette di connettere una scheda Arduino ad una LAN utilizzando la libreriaEthernet Library
Arduino Ethernet Shield dispone di connettore per micro SD card e supporta fino a quattro connessioni socket simultanee. 
I pin digitali 10, 11, 12 e 13 di Arduino vengono impiegati per comunicare con il chip W5100, quindi quando si utilizza Arduino Ethernet Shield, 
questi pin non possono essere utilizzati come I/O. 
Il pulsante di reset sulla scheda resetta sia il chip W5100 che la scheda Arduino. 
Compatibile anche con la scheda Arduino MEGA. 
Predisposizione per alimentatore Power Over Ethernet.
